The front desk receptionist, I have no kind words for this women, and wish her only karma.

I really liked Dr. H***n at he start, it had seemed as if I had finally found a doctor concerned about my well being. I was wrong.

After many appointments and too many trial medications to count, I am still in the same position I was in when I initially went to see him. My last appointment was just that, my last.

I went in for a follow-up after not hearing from him for months. I mentioned the last time we had spoken he had referred me to a specialist and after that appointment we both agreed I should see someone else and he had told me he was making me an appointment for a doctor well known in Vancouver, but since she was popular it may be several months till I get in. Which was fine with me.

On my appointment today I reminded him of ALL of this, in which he basically said he had never sent me to anyone before, and has no record of it. Then also claimed his reception had called me to confirm an appointment with the female doctor from Vancouver and I had acknowledged it but not shown up.

Obviously this was ALL untrue, I mentioned that my boyfriend had been with me during all of this and so I wasn't going to sit here and do the he said she said crap. He brought in the receptionist who flat out said I was lying, I told her she was rude and lying and she flipped out, and Dr. Hassan turned on me saying I need to calm down and not be rude. He then demanded to speak to my boyfriend who came into the office and said that in fact Dr. Hassan had referred us to the other doctor I had seen and that no receptionist had called about an additional appointment for the doctor in Vancouver. Then Dr. Hassan started speaking to my boyfriend and telling me to not speak or interrupt him, or I could find a new doctor. I told him my boyfriend was not the patient, and we had established that his receptionist was a liar, and I agreed that I should find a new doctor, a competent doctor, who I can trust not to be rude, or lie. After I said that he in turn tried to convince me to stay, while still making comments about how MY attitude had to change in order for him to allow me to stay. Which I in turn told him to close my file and I had already said I didn't want to stay so to stop acting as if I'm the one who needs him, and I will be reporting him to the board.

I will never go here again, its unfortunate, I met the female owner (I believe she said it was her dad's name on the building) when I first started going here, she was the reception, super nice, and super concerned about people. She requested that if anything happened that I didn't like to simply let her know and she would fix it. I think things would have continued to run smooth if she was still there, but after she left peoples attitudes changed, and not for the better.
