I went to Emkiro Health Service's walk-in clinic. I am a BC resident. Canadian provinces have a reciprocal agreement that allows them to bill each other for care provided to travelling Canadians outside of their home province. This agreement lets you show your province's health care card in any Canadian province in order to receive coverage.

I had never had trouble to see a doctor in Ontario in the few occasions I needed one. However, Emriko Health Services insisted on charging me. I refused and went to a different walk-in clinic that had no problem accepting my BC coverage. I wonder if Emkiro has the right to refuse patients from other provinces. I would encourage Emkiro to comply with the Canadian provinces' reciprocal agreement and accept other provinces health coverage.
